The Doctor travels with Alfie Owens, also known as the baby Stormageddon, to the North Pole in a search for the fourth segment of the Key to Time. However, an entire fleet of Daleks decides to land on the North Pole and travel in the oposite direction. The Doctor and Alfie are forced to travel around the world in the hope to find a way to get past the Daleks.
